BTW: have you ever thought about selling "deluxe versions" of your sets in addition to the subscription service? Like - selling ALL pics of a set (i am sure you shoot WAY more than you showing us right now) in a HQ high resolution version for -lets say 10-20 bucks a set?
I would gladly pay that for all my favourite sets...
I've seen the new compression system as a beta test and it does look great, so better things are coming.
Keep in mind though that even though there's easily 500 pictures shot on a shoot, they got shot in rapid succession, with either a lot of the same pictures, and a lot of blurry ones where there was just a little movement. You can easily discard two thirds of them. Adding more pictures to a pictureset usually means more of the same, and it'll slowly turn into a movie, then you can better watch the movie so you'd have sound too
As for a deluxe version, I cannot speak for Ariane's site, but for clipteez, I've been considering such a thing. That would mean that, if there's enough interest in it, we could offer deluxe packages that have the videos in far superior compression and higher bitrates, and have it printed on BluRay disks. In that case, it could also hold picturesets in 4K. But as said, enough people need to be interested in such a thing.
