Interesting question !
I’m not that familiar with their designs but it’s reasonable to assume their is a one way or check valve in the filling system.
Relying on essentially a silicone bulb that’s been punctured multiple times is asking for trouble.
But would check valve would stop the expander being reduced in size?

However they weren’t meant for long term use, only to be filled few times to get skin to stretch so permanent device could be put in.

I’m sure theirs members who are better qualified to answer this. Hopefully they can add more to this.

Sadly it’s become apparent in recent years that the number of genuine members who want to contribute has been overtaken by others who come here for free porn centred around fake boobs.

To add to the subject , i have a paire of 700cc expanders from polytech , and there is no "one way valve"

just the injection dome in silicone

my question is about how many time this dome can be punctured ?

Hundreds, even with some abuse. The insertion point is far less of an issue than skin thinning, as mentioned by xMrB.

Nope, no check valve on the several sets I had had use of.

Not really. It is a medical device, expensive, and designed to take a needle through the port. Many, many times. Subcutaneous insertion points are common and uncomplicated for more banal and useful purposes like diabetes or dialysis, no?

"skin thinning" ?

Do you have details about it ?

The weight and pressure of 35lbs of boobs has a tendency to press the tissues to the extent that the body stops depositing fats there, and eventually blood vessels may stop growing. There is a noticeable thinning of the skin, meaning it is more likely to tear or rupture instead of stretch and heal.

Hi Poot,
Thanks for explaining that, I’ve often been curious why it occurs.
Is their any steps that can be taken to mitigate the occurrence.
I’m assuming it occurs on under and outer sides more as that seems to be where the pressure is highest.

Padded bras, and making sure that the weight is supported from underneath. In general, just distributing the weight as best as possible. One can also get concavity in the chest wall from the bra being too tight. We had that problem. Very wide brastraps are a must as well.

It has been my experience that surgeons tend to place implants closer to the sides and bottom of the pocket, leaving the most natural skin and padding in the middle, and then secondly on the top. Weight compression just exacerbates the issue.
