Search not working?

For the first time in a few months, my initial attempt to use search results in error message:
"Your last search was less than 5 seconds ago. Please try again later."

Do I need to delete all site cookies or is there some other issue with the search function?

That happens to me every time I use the search. I just wait 5 seconds and search again and it goes through the second time.

Sorry, u r right, I had to wait rather longer but it worked again.

Also yesterday I got the message that my ID was permanently banned, but now I can access the forum again. Weird. Thought maybe the user account DB got hacked, but it looks like there are still some DB access issues.

If this happens again, send me a PM with the IP address that was blocked.
