Though perhaps not as diplomatic as you'd like him to be, KwukDuck is pointing out that if you refine your technique so that you save the highest quality file, _you_ get the best looking images, and we do too!
Personally, with instagram, I use Firefox's menu>Tools>Page Info function (⌘ I Mac, probably control I Windows) to show the source files for all media on the page.
The source Instagram files usually end in ...... _n.jpg or ...... .mp4
Just select the one you want, click "Save as...", and you've got the best possible quality and resolution; which for photos, is now up to 1080 pixels across, AFAIK.
