To be honest I would just choose whatever surgeon you guys like the best and throw it on your mortgage. Even $20,000 only adds like $120 a month to it, which is a hell of a lot less painful than paying it up front.
My wife's due for a redo after about 11 years. Moving from 400cc to 800cc. She's looking to get a bunch of other stuff done as well. Curious if anyone's gotten any indication on if surgeons in the NorthEast US have adjusted cost to reflect demand, and if that demand is currently up or down considering where we're at in the Covid/Election cycle.
