COVID Pricing
« on: October 07, 2020, 04:39:44 pm »
My wife's due for a redo after about 11 years. Moving from 400cc to 800cc. She's looking to get a bunch of other stuff done as well. Curious if anyone's gotten any indication on if surgeons in the NorthEast US have adjusted cost to reflect demand, and if that demand is currently up or down considering where we're at in the Covid/Election cycle.

To be honest I would just choose whatever surgeon you guys like the best and throw it on your mortgage.

Even $20,000 only adds like $120 a month to it, which is a hell of a lot less painful than paying it up front.

Not a good way to look at things, that's how poor people justify spending and stay poor.

If something costs $20,000 less, then strive to pay $20,000 less.

Not the NE specifically, but in SoCal and in Miami, yes. For common surgery, discounts are not uncommon. Tho of note, several of the doctors we have worked with will call you back with a better price if you wait. They want their bookings solid, as does any business. 4 figure surgical costs would probably not have the same rules applied.
