I agree. As a professional writer, I find porn is a perfect example of a very poorly-told story. Tell me, what man looks at, say, Esperanza Gomez, and says, "You know, she's so hot, I want to see the expression on the guy's face when she's giving him a blowjob."? Seriously, dudes. In what universe does anyone care about the expression on the guy's face as he's getting his johnson licked? And yet, it seems EVERY porn scene has the obligatory cut to the guy's face. As if he's gonna say, "Yeah, you're not doing that right. Please stop." Or the original pet peeve expressed here. What guy says, "Her tits are so incredible! I sure would love to see her asshole pucker as some dude with a gargantuan dick gives it to her." Context and continuity aren't priorities, and so, even though you're not really there to see the acting, it can become annoying when the woman is buck naked before the cut, and wearing a bra and panties after the cut.
The problem with porn as I see it is there's just too much of a formula for filming, and there are shaky camera shots, and good ones, but they all follow a formula that doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. When you're having sex with a woman, do you concentrate on the area between her pussy and anus? Nope, but porn does. It's like telling the story of Tom Sawyer conning his friends to whitewash the fence for him by concentrating on the space between the fence pickets and the nail patterns. Make a better porn movie and the world will beat a path to your door.
Um, correction, make a better porn movie and it'll magically show up on every porn board online, and you can live off ramen noodles while a billion guys fap and thank God someone finally told a good porn story. Nothing the God of fapping karma won't let you into heaven for...
