We haven't really decided yet.

I had a lengthy and cogent response to the new policy that resurrects the centuries-old hypocrisy of determining what is "explicit", and why it is no longer "acceptable" here.  I cannot even add it to the discussion thread about this change, now located in the Pornstars subforum, which is now locked. But what would be the point? Freedom of expression has now been eliminated as "commercially unviable".  Google ad redirects, and vague, contradictory and subjective female unease with expressions of sexual activity are now the replacement paradigms for what was once a forum of free expression.  Hero Members, Legendary Members and Donors have all contributed material for years which is now considered "explicit" and must be expunged. They did not have to "vet" their free expression on whether it was "politically correct" or not, only on the basis of whether it was "offensive".

Apparently the lessons the Taliban is teaching us by blowing up ancient priceless artifacts that are now "offensive" to Islam are not getting through.

PENIS
There. Now some female will find this post "offensive".  You can now remove it with a clear conscience that you have protected this "new" community of commercially-viable robots.

I know this policy is here to stay (at least foreseeably), but you should still provide the members with their opportunity to comment and respond.  Oh, wait, I forgot, only the "new" or "elite" memberships matter... never mind.

No sexual content = no freedom of speech?
Predictably, you missed the point.
Arbitrary, subjective censorship =  no freedom of speech
This is not truly about "sexual content". It is about antiquated personal discomforts about sexual content, particularly hypocritical on a site that glamorizes enhancement to a body part for amplifying sexuality.

Oh, and BTW, while I am discoursing on hypocrisy, apparently our female members may post a nude picture of themselves and their pussy... but if I post a nude picture of myself and my penis, that is in VIOLATION of the policy given above... clearly blatant sexual discrimination (not that I have any interest in looking at penises, it's the latent unavoidable subjectiveness of defining what is "explicit" that I'm after).

. No one says you can't post explicit content anywhere. They're just making a rule in THEIR forum that they don't want explicit content HERE. No one's rights are in danger, no one's freedom to express is being infringed. Private citizens who run this board are simply saying don't post explicit content here. Fear not. Explicit porn is alive and well all over the Internet. Just not here.

I knew the change would be detrimental to the forum, but it's even worse than I could have imagined.  I knew the "Pornstar" section was basically being phased out, but now they are getting rid of the "Camgirls" section too?  Feasibly, cam girl threads could be moved or started anew in the "Models" section so there is hope, but I find myself spending less and less time here at the TPB and when I do visit I usually just check the "Models" section because it's the only section worth checking on at this point.  I'm not a donor or paying member so, ultimately, my opinion probably doesn't mean anything, but I just don't understand what the forum plans to achieve with these changes.  The moderators have said before that managing pirated or illegally shared content was a part of the problem.  That I understand.  It may be overly time consuming and challenging to deal with people contacting you about pirated content.  That makes sense, but this vision of catering to paying members/donors and enticing new female members and Star Members for the purposes of talking about breast implants in an analytical way boggles my mind.  If you guys want to make this into a forum where people talk endlessly about scarring, cc's, silicone, saline, surgeons, blah blah blah just do that and be done with it.  As it stands, the forum is still probably filled with way too much nudity to entice any kind of "normal" girl interested in breast implants. The forum is in limbo, stuck between its old hardcore-self and the new direction it wants to take.  To my knowledge, Star Members tend to be Models themselves (sometimes Adult Entertainers) so I'm not sure you were alienating them too much when the old content was in place.  That leaves new Male members (some which may be donors).  You're telling me there is a whole contingent of men out there on the internet willing to pay to talk about the details, procedures, and culture of breast implants?  Hard to believe.  A member posted in response to someone unhappy with the change that this place isn't all "about sexual gratification."  I don't know why, but that made me laugh out loud.  For a lot of men mostly everything is about sexual gratification.  Granted, this may not be true for some and the moderators have their fair share of followers who love to talk about the nuances of breast implants, but given where the forum currently stands and the direction it wants to go in expecting new men and women to join in droves just to talk about fake boobs seems unrealistic to me...

I think of the new rules as speed limits. Almost nobody likes it, but in the end it makes driving and traffic a lot better.

The primary goal of the administration for a long time has been to attract female members and make them feel comfortable, safe and welcome here. That means sanitizing the forum to a degree, given that many of these female members are regular civilians and not models / in the adult industry. A bunch of men sharing their porn stash makes at least some women uncomfortable - if they don't want to lose these women, something's got to give - in this case, the porn section (the camgirl section was probably removed since much of their content is "explicit" as well). It is what it is, simply because you can't have your cake (regular female members participating and sharing content) and eat it, too (sharing your porn stash).

I don't consider it that much of a loss, since virtually all of that porn content is just reposts from threads over at pornbb, planetsuzy and other huge porn forums. The only difference is that those forums don't curate the content solely to feature fake boobs porn.

I actually feel welcome on the forum when talking about breast augmentations.
As there are lot of boy, I can understand that they want to keep explicit contents... but it's not what I'm looking for personally ;)
In fact, there are two things that really bother me:
1) On the one hand falling on explicit content without expecting it (if there was a warning, I would be able to choose if I want or not seeing it)
2) Moreover the words used by some (boobjob, *WOMAN*, jerk of, etc.) Girls like me do not want to hear such words
I think that I'm a regular female members and hope to continue to participate
Already performed:
-Total labiaplasty + hoodectomy
-Definitiv pubic hair removal
-First breast augmentation (create pockets)
To be performed:
-Second breast augmentation (for projection)
-Diet+fitness

This is an annoyance I have too, a porn-centric forum attracts a lot of these guys apparently, where an attractive woman with a great pair of boobs is somehow OK to call a "total *WOMAN*", "the perfect *WOMAN*", and so on. It's super disrespectful unless you're one of the tiny minority of women who might be very into that stuff. I hope, and think, it'll be a lot better with an adult entertainers section with stricter rules instead of porn stars and cam girls.

It's not why I donated in the first place (that was all thanks to princess_dj and her magical pair of boobs), but it is why I have kept donating since I first did a few years ago. I'm genuinely curious about fake boobs, the procedures, the surgery, womens experience with fake boobs, and so on, and I've learned a lot about it from this forum. If my girlfriend ever says to me she's interested in getting implants I'd be a hell of a lot more comfortable telling her to join this site now, or in the future, compared to a year or two ago. The forum now becoming even more of that and less porn-centric is why I'll be donating again the next time my membership runs out.

Explicit porn is alive and well all over the Internet. Just not here.

"anywhere" most porn on the internet is a desert of cheap, low quality trash. a few years ago, there were many download sites like sevas', that are now gone & NOTHING has replaced them

but it gets worse, in the place of trusted fortress sites like this, spring up countless fly-by-night sites that are minefields of viruses

take for example, i like chloe vevrier, while her old content's all over, it's constantly reposted, but no one uploads her new stuff from the past several years, anywhere, i've spent thousands of manhours searching (obviously, it'd cost less if i just bought a month's subscription, then found a place to post it. but it's PRINCIPLE dammit!)

the internet is now a grave of BILLIONS of manhours wasted by millions of pornhounds searching vainly for what they want. all the "explicit porn" you say is "alive & well" is like comparing Soylent Green to fresh organic filet mignon

like if gehentai were to disappear, there'd be nothing to replace it. "myincesthentai"/MIH died out a few years ago, while the related "luscious" site remaining, but it doesn't share the dynamic or feel of community (also, MIH had a 2000+ archive of randy dave, it is now gone & no place, not luscious, no gehentai has the entire collection)

i'll admit the "free speech" argument is pretty weak, i prefet pirate metaphors:

"we ARE pirates, this was a Safe Harbor for us & our Treasure Trove of BOOTY (enhanced booty!) from all corners of the Globe (silicon or saline sometimes even polypropylene filled!) to share our treasure & or Tales of ADVENTURE!

now a storm has laid waste here & scattered the Treasure Fleet, countless ships foundering in the chaos, smashing into reefs of paywalls, popups & malware. Now the few impoverished sea dogs who remain spin their tales of the Golden Age of Piracy to all the naive swabbies that wander here, ours was a Grand Time, & our words can not convey the True Glory of that Time, of the Great Pirate Kings like Sevas, who are now lost to History"

that's how it's done guys, not "muh frydum uf spoich!"

remember to Thank the post if you liked it!

ps, despite this being a site for enhanced bodies, this new rule means the Perfect Penis (ie marcbulge, silicongreg, etc) will never be part of this forum. What about those poor guys? (the reason i'd think it should be here, aside from the obvious enhanced purpose of this site, is to serve as an example of what an ideal transexual performer should have "equipment-wise" to be the "Perfect Trans" though some think perfect for transwoman means essentially an "Ersatz" (artificial) woman as opposed to the type known as "newhalf" by artists like amanoja9. Imagine, beautiful feminine face pumped up lips graceful body giant fake breasts {3000cc+} huge fake booty & massive silicon filled (12"+ length x 3"+ diameter) cock... such a Wonder has never been seen on the internet & now likely never will)

point 1) i agree, the site gehentai has an explicit warning page for offensive galleries; scat, bestiality, guro, snuff, etc (though folks there still complain for complaint's sake) such a warning would have fit in here w/ far less work than the current scorched earth policy

point 2) i agree again. despite beind a pornloving hetero male, i've never indulged in such vulgar speech & i would rather enforce mannered speech, ie "talk nice or temp ban, repeat pottymouth is permaban" (note, despite what the purveyors of moral filth decades ago claimed, the 1st amendment isn't so morons can show of their pervert vocabulary, it covers the freedom of ideology spiritual & political)

so banning a pottymouth for breaking politeness rule doesn't violate that. but taking away the explicit porn doesn't drive off the trash talking beta scum, they'll filthtalk a girl even wearing normal clothes. so no more explicit porn punishes the mannered folks here, while failing to drive of the Eternal 13-yr olds who drool over anything w/ breasts

still, this is a european forum & the euro solutions to problems, well... (i'll just say girls should avoid cities like Cologne & Paris, explicit talk is the least of your problems over there, it's Elin Krantz territory there)

Your two last posts are just very longwinded, roundabout ways to say you're upset you need to find porn another place. Your mental gymnastics are impressive though.
