HELP! Internet tools to find material.
« on: April 01, 2016, 06:30:47 am »
Hi everybody,

I want to make a suggestion.

I wish to make a topic where people who are not familiar with the internet researches could find good tips and tools to browse the web as their convinience and share what they found on this unlimited source of content.
Such things as posting instagram full size photos (which is not my thing but really helpful, thanks to ThomasSmith and his topic https://theperfectboobs.net/index.php?topic=30810.0)

I saw too many people asking for re-ups or such simple things google can find you in 0.1 nano second.

Are you agree? And if you have, could you share some tips with us?

I 'll start a little list:

1_ Internet download manager:  It's a little tool who manages your downoads. It's not the best (I prefer Jdownloader) but it allows you to grab all pics from any website (really whole pics, like a siterip). Not easy to start with but not complicated, you'll get it fast ;).

2_Google!!!!!!: Google is the shit, you just have to use good tags ater your research like: if you are looking for Danielle Derek stuff then you write "Danielle Derek" followed by tags like: _siterip
                                                             _thread
                                                             _forum
                                                             _password
                                                             _galleries
                                                             _torrent
_planetsuzy (I hope it's not forbidden to say it here but let's be honest, this forum is a goldmine)
And on and on... it's unlimited...

3_ Use your tracking skills: If you know that a model has been on this website or this other one... Then focus your researches in these websites archives like torrents or forums, you'll find stuff often burried under huge amounts of content but if you are dedicated, you'll find your happiness quick enough.

4_Use MPC-HC: it's a really light media player which includes every codec existing so you won't have trouble to read anything. Plus 1080p videos are not "lagging" on this one and it makes disappear green bars sometimes there is on VLC.

I started with basics but there are so much more... Let us know  :D

This website can sometimes help if you're looking for a previous version/update of a site, site domain registry expired, etc..

https://archive.org/index.php

or use this feature --> https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://yourwebsitehere.com*

replacing "yourwebsitehere" with whatever website name that you are looking for

for example... https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://pandorapeaks.com*

will show you all pages archived from Pandorapeaks.com and there is even a feature to search, so typing .jpg in the search box will only display image results that were archived.

Have fun.

Figure I'd ask, any suggested apps for Kodi on our "jailbroken" fire sticks?
